About the Treatment
OptiLift™ RF Microneedling combines precision microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production deep within the skin. By creating controlled microchannels while delivering thermal energy below the surface, this advanced treatment promotes skin tightening, improved texture, and overall rejuvenation.
RF Microneedling is ideal for addressing skin laxity, fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scars, and uneven skin texture on the face and certain body areas. Over time, skin appears firmer, smoother, and more refined as new collagen develops.
What to Expect
Before treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort. During the procedure, a microneedling device delivers RF energy beneath the skin’s surface in controlled depths and patterns. Patients typically feel pressure and warmth.
Following treatment, mild redness, swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation are common and usually resolve within a few days. Skin may feel slightly rough or tight during early healing. Collagen remodeling occurs gradually, with continued improvement in firmness and texture over the following weeks to months. A series of treatments may be recommended for optimal results.
How to Prepare
To ensure safe and effective treatment:
- Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and active skincare products for 7 days prior
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning before treatment 7 days prior.
- Stay well hydrated before your appointment
- Do not schedule treatment immediately before major events or travel
- Inform your provider of any recent skin treatments or procedures
